As a new hire, you have 30 days from your date of hire to elect coverage for yourself, your spouse, and any dependents in Workday. You must actively elect or waive medical, dental, vision, flex, and voluntary coverages. Basic Life and AD&D and disability coverages are fully sponsored by Talend.
Every year you will have an opportunity to elect changes to your benefits for the following year, effective January 1st. Please submit your changes through Workday during the Open Enrollment window. When the window closes, you will not be able to change your benefit elections during the year unless you experience a qualifying life event.
In order make changes to your elections mid-year, you or your enrolled dependents must experience an approved Qualifying Life Event (e.g. birth, marriage, loss/gain of other coverage). Please submit your event and any supporting documentation through Workday. You must report this event within 30 days of its occurrence.

Talend is proud to offer competitive cost effective benefits for employees. Below are the 2023 pre-tax per pay period contributions. HDHP, dental, and vision contributions are staying the same for 2023.
New Pre-Tax Administrator - WEX!
Talend is pleased to announce the move from UHC/Optum to WEX for pre-tax administration for the 2023 plan year! The Health Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, Health Savings Account (HSA), and transit/parking plans will all be administered by WEX starting January 1. You will receive new debit cards in the mail in the coming weeks. The Health FSA maximum is increasing to $3,050 for 2023 and will have an indexed rollover of $610 available in the following plan year. The HSA plan maximums are increasing to $3,850/individual coverage; $7,750/family coverage. Note that these maximums include contributions you make through pre-tax payroll deductions and contributions that Talend makes into your HSA on your behalf. The transit and parking plan maximums are increasing to $300/month as well.
Your current 2022 enrollment will roll over to 2023 if no action is taken (except Dependent Care and Health FSA!) That means you will have the same benefit plans and cover the same dependents (if any). However, if you want to contribute to either FSA plan, you must re-enroll each year. Your previous election will not rollover from 2022 to 2023.
Talend is excited to announce that we have held the Anthem HDHP, Kaiser HDHP, dental, and vision contributions flat! There will be a slight increase to the Anthem PPO and Kaiser HMO contributions.

New Medical Carrier - Anthem!
Talend has moved to Anthem for the 2022 plan year! Anthem has a broad range of contracted in-network doctors and comprehensive enrollment and wellness resources. If you elect one of the Anthem plan options for 2022, please give your doctor your new Anthem ID information so that they can coordinate your care accordingly. Talend will continue to provide medical coverage through Kaiser for those employees currently residing in California.
