As a new hire, you have 30 days from your date of hire to elect coverage for yourself, your spouse, and any dependents in Workday. You must actively elect or waive medical, dental, vision, flex, and voluntary coverages. Basic Life and AD&D and disability coverages are fully sponsored by Talend.
Every year you will have an opportunity to elect changes to your benefits for the following year, effective January 1st. Please submit your changes through Workday during the Open Enrollment window. When the window closes, you will not be able to change your benefit elections during the year unless you experience a qualifying life event.
In order make changes to your elections mid-year, you or your enrolled dependents must experience an approved Qualifying Life Event (e.g. birth, marriage, loss/gain of other coverage). Please submit your event and any supporting documentation through Workday. You must report this event within 30 days of its occurrence.

New Hire Enrollment
Please ensure to complete your 2021 "Change Benefits for Life Event" elections before starting your 2022 Open Enrollment change.
Talend is proud to offer competitive cost effective benefits for employees. Below are the 2022 pre-tax per pay period contributions. Medical and vision contributions are staying the same for 2022. Contributions for 2022 will be based on 26 pay periods.
Talend is pleased to announce the move from UHC to Anthem for the 2022 plan year! Plan designs are remaining the same as those currently available through UHC. Anthem has a broad range of contracted in-network doctors and comprehensive enrollment and wellness resources. If you elect one of the Anthem plan options for 2022, please give your doctor your new Anthem ID information so that they can coordinate your care accordingly. Talend will continue to provide medical coverage through Kaiser for those employees currently residing in California.
Your current 2021 enrollment will roll over to 2022 if no action is taken (except Dependent Care and Health FSA!) That means you will have the same benefit plans and cover the same dependents (if any). If you are currently on one of the UHC medical plans, you will be mapped to the corresponding Anthem plan (HDHP or PPO). However, if you want to contribute to either FSA plan, you must re-enroll each year. Your previous election will not rollover from 2021 to 2022.

Please note: all Qualifying Life Events that are effective in 2021 should be completed before starting your 2022 Open Enrollment change.
Update Your Beneficiary
We ask that you take a few minutes to update your beneficiary information during open enrollment. All regular full-time employees are covered under the basic life insurance that Talend provides, so all employees should ensure this information is up-to-date.
